VictorWear Event Expo Planner: VictorWear is hiring for an Event Planner. You will be responsible for recruiting vendors and sponsors for the event and building a marketing and promotion strategy for success. Your passion for disability issues, event planning, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects will be instrumental in ensuring the event’s success. The Event Planner position offers a competitive wage of $30 per hour. We are looking for a 2-month commitment, with 15 weekly work hours, and 60 hours monthly. There’s a strong chance that the role will be renewed after 2 months. Eagles Autism Foundation, Wawa, and Popcorn for the People Announce Collaboration for Employment Opportunities: “A former Wawa on Ninth and South Streets, which closed in 2021, is set to become a Popcorn for the People production facility, as part of a new collaboration with the Eagles. The transformation of the shuttered Wawa is the result of a partnership between Wawa, the Eagles Autism Foundation, and Popcorn for the People, a nonprofit founded in 2014 to employ people with autism and other developmental disabilities.” Read more here!
Neurodiversity Success Center & Coffee Chat: Hill Top Preparatory is excited to announce the opening of the Neurodiversity Success Center. NSC supports adolescents and young adults as they prepare for success in school, college, life, and the world of work. The Neurodiversity Success Center will be broken into three components: PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relationship Skills), Executive Function Coaching, and College Advising. College Autism Network Summit: The College Autism Summit brings together scholars, practitioners, administrators, employers, and self- advocates to discuss evidence-driven strategies that help support college students with autism and related learning differences.
