Co-hosted by the Neurodiversity Employment Network: Philadelphia (NENPHL)\, Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD)\, and Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP)\, the event connects legal advocacy with workplace practice in a neuroaffirming\, interactive format. Proceeds help expand access to plain-language rights information for the wider community and sustain mentorship opportunities that connect employers and job seekers in line with NENPHL’s mission to increase access to collective knowledge for inclusive employment. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEvent Details\n\n\n\n\nDate & Time: Thursday\, December 4\, 2025 · 6:00–8:00 PM\n\n\n\nLocation: Indy Hall\, Philadelphia\, PA\n\n\n\nAudience: Early career professionals with disabilities\, employers\, disability advocates\, legal professionals\, and allies\n\n\n\nFormat: In-person trivia night with team and individual participation\n\n\n\n\nAgenda (6:00–8:00 PM)\n\n\n\n\n6:00–6:15 PM | Check-In & NetworkingRegistration\, materials pick-up\, appetizers\, and welcome tables from NENPHL and LCD.\n\n\n\n6:15–6:25 PM | Welcome & Opening RemarksEvent overview\, rules\, and context linking legal rights to inclusive employment.\n\n\n\n6:30–7:45 PM | Trivia RoundsThree rounds focused on practical knowledge and real-world application.\n\n\n\n8:00 PM | Winners & Closing RemarksRecognition and next steps for continued learning and engagement.\n\n\n\n\nTrivia Categories\n\n\n\n\nDisability and Neurodiversity 101\n\n\n\nGeneral Disability Legal Rights\n\n\n\nWorkplace Accommodations and Accessibility\n\n\n\n\nOutcomes\n\n\n\n\nIncreased community access to clear\, practical information on disability rights and workplace inclusion.\n\n\n\nStrengthened pathways for hiring\, retention\, and advancement through sustained employer and job seeker mentorship connections.\n\n\n\n\nMeet Your Hosts:  Know Your Rights Trivia Night\,  December 4\, 2025 | 6:00–8:00 PM \n\n\n\nAbout Our Organizations: \n\n\n\n\nThe Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD) provides free legal services to low-income individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions. LCD’s attorneys and advocates work to protect rights\, prevent abuse\, and ensure access to critical resources such as healthcare\, housing\, and employment.\n\n\n\nThe Neurodiversity Employment Network (NEN) connects job seekers\, employers\, and service providers to enable more employment opportunities for neurodivergent individuals. NEN empowers organizations to catalyze equitable hiring practices and supports neurodivergent professionals in making meaningful employment connections.\n\n\n\nYoung Involved Philadelphia (YIP) is a network of young leaders committed to civic engagement and social change. Through events and programs\, YIP inspires Philadelphians to connect\, volunteer\, and take action to make our city a more inclusive\, equitable place for all.\n\n\n\n\nStory \n\n\n\nThe Neurodiversity Employment Network: Philadelphia (NENPHL) began as a small circle of people who kept meeting and asking the same question: how do we make it easier for neurodivergent people to find meaningful work in our region? What started as a grassroots working group grew into a nonprofit with a clear purpose. Our mission is simple and direct: we facilitate connections to increase meaningful employment opportunities for neurodivergent people. \n\n\n\nWe bring employers\, educators\, service providers\, advocates\, and job seekers into spaces where ideas turn into action. In 2025\, that has included the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit at Villanova\, Fostering Inclusive Talent Acquisition with CHOP and Philly SHRM\, and Advancing Neurodivergent Leadership with the University of Delaware. These gatherings are built so that real connections are made\, practical steps are identified\, and organizations leave with tools they can use right away. \n\n\n\nWe are also launching the public Ecosystem Mapping Tool\, a live resource where anyone can find Employer Engagement efforts\, such as hiring initiatives and retention programs\, and Organizational Expertise\, such as workforce development or transition services. The tool turns scattered information into a regional network that people can navigate quickly\, which makes it easier to collaborate and hire. \n\n\n\nHere is how impact shows up: \n\n\n\n\nEvents average 4.9 out of 5 for relevance and value.\n\n\n\n100% of participants consistently report that events have value and that they make meaningful connections. These connections can lead to contract work\, business partnerships\, and mentorship opportunities.\n\n\n\nIn 2024\, we saw a 25% increase in organizational membership and an 83% retention rate. In 2025\, we are seeing growth in higher education and nonprofit partnerships\, and a doubling of individual memberships.\n\n\n\n\nEvery time someone meets the right person\, learns about the right opportunity\, or starts an inclusive practice inside their organization\, we move closer to a regional workforce where neurodivergent professionals thrive. Your support helps make the next introduction possible. \n\n\n\nWe value partnerships across sectors because they are how real change happens. Our Know Your Rights Trivia Night (KYR) is a great example\, bringing together Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD) and Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) with NENPHL to connect communities\, share knowledge\, and open doors to employment.
