SUMMARY:2024 ERNIE ELS #GAMEON AUTISM® GOLF CLINIC
DESCRIPTION:Els for Autism will host an Ernie Els #GameON Autism Golf clinic at select locations of theGolf Challenge regional event series in order to offer participants an orientation to golf\,specialized for individuals on the autism spectrum. The 1-hour clinic includes a 5-minuteintroduction and 45 minutes of golf activities with intermittent short breaks. During theclinic\, students will work on new golf skills while practicing specific autism learning conceptsinfused into the lesson plan. The clinic is divided into 4-6 stations that utilize visual supportsto cover basic golf skills: Stretching & Grip\, Putting\, Chipping\, Pitching\, and Full Swing.

This webinar will discuss effective practices and predictors of positive post-school outcomes for transition-aged youth with autism\, strategies to improve hiring experiences and outcomes for autistic job applicants\, and recommendations to promote disability inclusion within the workplace.

DESCRIPTION:On April 30\, the Eagles Autism Foundation will hold their Adult Fitness and Drum Clinic from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Lincoln Financial Field. This clinic session is for individuals aged 15 and older. Participants will first participate in a fitness program led by the Eagles Cheerleaders and then participate in a drum lesson held by the Eagles Drumline. Participants will also be able to attend a meet and greet with both groups.

DESCRIPTION:On April 8\, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC) will be holding its first symposium on Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion. A variety of topics will be covered\, but there will be some discussion on how to support individuals with disabilities in the workplace. The event will go from 10 am to 3 pm and will be held at the Sonesta Rittenhouse Square.
