SUMMARY:Neurodiversity at Work: Capital Region Hub Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Capital Region’s Neurodiversity at Work Hub quarterly meetings. We’ve missed you all and can’t wait to catch up. \n\n\n\nThis virtual meeting will be held via Zoom on June 21st from 9:00 am EDT to 11:30 am EDT. Once you register\, you will receive a Zoom link. Please join us for all or part of the meeting as you are able. \n\n\n\nThis quarter we will be featuring stories from Jewish Social Services Agency (JSSA). They will share a glimpse at practical and successful strategies they’ve used in partnerships with employers across three different industries\, leading to employment retention rates of 90%. We will hear firsthand from employer representatives from the University of Maryland\, CVS Health and Goldfarb and Associates\, who will give us a taste of what’s possible. \n\n\n\nPROGRAM \n\n\n\n9:00 am       Welcome – JSSA welcome \n\n\n\n9:15 am       An interactive discussion of hiring successes and proven best practices   featuring: \n\n\n\nTom Liniak – JSSA; Saul Goldfarb\, Goldfarb and Associates; Erika Bailey – CVS Health; Erick Gilbert – University of Maryland \n\n\n\n10:15 am     Break (Nancy will announce and give a sneak peek of Dr. Robertson) \n\n\n\n10:30 am     Reconvene with Dr. Scott Robertson\, Senior Policy Advisor\, Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy – Who will summarize the panel\, give a quick update on the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee and other federal efforts\, and then give the charge for breakout rooms \n\n\n\n10:50 am     Break out rooms – We will give 1-2 targeted topics of discussion/questions \n\n\n\n11:15 am     Share breakout room discussions – one representative from each group (Teresa will moderate) \n\n\n\n11:30 am     Sum up and Farewell (Tom Liniak)
