New Energy Music, a nonprofit organization founded on a mission to support the work and wellness of Original Musicians, has begun fundraising to establish a full-scale, inclusive Music Production Studio in New York City. Once space is secured, New Energy Music will create opportunities in Applied Music Theory and Applied Sound Engineering for qualified Original Musicians. An introduction video released on 6/22/23 shares stories from both Neurodivergent and Neurotypical Musicians, including the organization’s Founder, Justin King, and reveals how critical engaging with the craft of music is. We’re looking for both written and video stories from autistic individuals to showcase at the statewide conference, held virtually November 7-9, 2023.
