Join us to learn more about West Chester University’s efforts in neurodiversity & employment and to connect with others in the greater Philadelphia area. This university-focused event will provide insights for universities, employers, and other organizations on how they can be more inclusive of autistic and other neurodivergent individuals. All are welcome!
Participants will have the opportunity to navigate and explore various aspects of West Chester University’s campus as they relate to neurodiversity & employment. If you have accessibility requests to facilitate your participation, please indicate this in the registration form!

9:00: Welcome
Hear from WCU representatives on an overview of the day.
Learn more about efforts to build our website as a community resource while providing training opportunities for D-CAP students from our web development team.
Have the chance to talk about your work or hear about others in our community announcements!
9:45: Breakout Sessions – Employment and Inclusivity Initiatives at WCU
In this ‘open house’ style event, you’ll have the opportunity to navigate across campus and join neurodivergent students, employees, and managers to learn more about their work across campus in the library, IT department, student store, career center, and more!
11:15: Employment & Management Panel
Hear from managers across campus on how they have implemented inclusive practices in their work. From the business and finance department, to the IT department, to the library, there will be actionable insights for all employers to learn how they can create access to opportunities and more neuroinclusive workplaces!
12:00: Lunch
We’ll head to the dining hall to grab some lunch and chat about the day so far!
1:00: Action Plan & Networking
We know that you’ll have learned a lot and have many ideas for next steps. In this interactive component, we’ll help you identify your action plan and connect to the people you need to get started.
Structured and unstructured networking time will allow you to maximize your time and meet a wide range of stakeholders!
