opportunity across the network.NENPHL: Message from the Executive DirectorHello Neuroinclusion Allies!

As we close out 2024, we reflect with pride on a year of progress and collaboration at the Neurodiversity Employment Network of Philadelphia. Guided by our Engage, Explore, Evolve process, we deepened connections and broadened opportunities to advance neuroinclusive employment.

This year, we welcomed a 25% increase in organizational membership and celebrated the first year of membership renewals, with an outstanding 83% retention rate—almost doubling our membership targets. Our quarterly events, hosted at Drexel University, SEI, West Chester University, and MidAtlantic Employers’ Association, brought together over 500 attendees to share knowledge and strategies. We introduced four new committees, supported five neurodivergent interns, and launched compelling video testimonials to amplify lived experiences and foster greater understanding. These milestones reflect our shared commitment to creating an inclusive employment ecosystem.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to expand our impact through dynamic approaches that connect members across categories that drive action in neuroinclusive employment. From investigating hiring opportunities to fostering inclusive workplace cultures and supporting entrepreneurship, our focus is on creating meaningful pathways for collaboration. Through quarterly meetings, topic-specific forums, and special events, we will bring together stakeholders to share insights, build partnerships, and explore innovative strategies. Our evolving website will streamline access to resources, document member objectives, and highlight activities advancing neuroinclusion. By connecting members to actionable opportunities we aim to empower meaningful collaboration and lasting progress. Together, we will continue building an inclusive employment ecosystem that benefits individuals and organizations alike.

In gratitude,
Laura Sibbald McAnulty
