November 19 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Join us for a dynamic full-day event where empathy meets innovation. We’ll kick off at 8:30 AM with registration and networking, followed by an opening keynote and a panel discussion at 9:10 AM on “How Can Empathy and Inclusion Reframe Innovation?” and a presentation at 10:10 AM on “Empathy as Infrastructure: Building Equitable Tech That Works for Everyone.”
The event features two parallel tracks:
From 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM, both tracks host three sessions each (for example: Engineering and Nursing Collaboration to address Aging and Community Challenges in The Lab; Frontline First: Co-Creating the Future of Care in Boots on the Ground). Lunch & networking follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. After lunch, at 1:00 PM, Session 2 kicks off in both tracks — The Lab includes “Bridging the Gap: Ensuring Lifelong Access to Assistive Technology” and “When Empathy Backfires: Why Founders Who Care the Most Struggle to Scale”; Boots on the Ground features “Stop Building for Us! Build With Us!” and “Autism at the Center of All Things: A Discussion about Keeping the Autistic Individual at the Center of All Innovation and Technology.” EmpathyTech
Later in the afternoon at 2:30 PM we convene the EmpathyTech Impact Lab — an opportunity to turn ideas into action and potentially win funding for selected projects — followed by a closing session at 3:10 PM where founder Marius Mathisen shares how EmpathyTech is evolving from event to movement, and then the keynote at 3:30 PM.
