NDEAM 2025 – Session 3: Financial Tools for Working People with Disabilities: Work While You Maintain Your Benefits with Work Incentives and the PA ABLE Savings Program
Experts will explain the PA ABLE Savings Program and Pennsylvania’s Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA). The PA ABLE Savings Program provides individuals with qualified disabilities a tax-free way to save for a wide range of disability-related expenses while maintaining important benefits.
WIPA is an essential service to promote and support the employment of people with disabilities who receive SSA benefits. Norma Realpe, Community Work Incentives Coordinator with the Ticket-to-Work/WIPA team at Disability Rights PA, will present an overview of WIPA’s individualized work incentives planning, which can assist individuals to make informed choices about work.
