“As corporate diversity programs enter the mainstream and the benefits of hiring workers from underrepresented backgrounds become more widely known, there is still one group that isn’t often talked about: the neurodiverse. Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that refers to the breadth of human neurocognitive functioning. Neurodivergent people can experience conditions including autism, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and dyslexia, to name just a few. Meanwhile, companies that have started seeking out neurodiverse talent are already seeing the benefits.
