Hello Neuroinclusion Allies!
June is starting with real momentum across the Neurodiversity Employment Network of Philadelphia, and there is so much to share in this newsletter.
We are still feeling the energy from our Connect and Learn Meetup, where the strength of this network was on full display. It was exciting to see employers, educators, service providers, students, job seekers, and community partners come together with such openness and purpose. We are proud of the outreach, planning, and collaboration that made the event such a success, and even more excited about how those connections are continuing to grow.
This month, we are also celebrating Pride Month and honoring the many identities, experiences, and perspectives that shape our community. Neuroinclusion is strongest when we recognize the full person, and we are grateful to be part of a network that continues to show up for belonging, access, and meaningful opportunity.
In the updates below, you will find upcoming events, partnership highlights, community opportunities, and a few important digital updates to check out.
Be sure to review the highlighted job opportunities, one role closes today!
We are especially looking forward to Retention By Design on July 15 at the Science Center in University City, focused on how workplaces can support growth, belonging, and long-term success.
There is a lot happening, and we hope you will find a way to step in, connect, and be part of what comes next.
Connect and Learn Meetup success
Our 2026 Connect and Learn Meetup was a clear success, bringing together more than 40 employers, 10 nonprofit organizations, and 6 schools for a morning focused on professional connection and cross-sector engagement.

Every respondent reported making at least one new professional connection, and participants identified networking and connection as the most valuable part of the event. Job seekers also reported a measurable increase in professional confidence following the meetup, reinforcing the importance of creating structured, welcoming spaces for career-focused conversations.
With 25% of attendees engaging with NENPHL for the first time and an average event rating of 4.83, CALM reflected both strong community reach and meaningful participant value.

Neuroinclusion Action Hub
NENPHL is launching development of the Neuroinclusive Action Hub, a practical resource designed to help employers move from interest to action through accessible tools, micro-actions, and connections across the neuroinclusive employment ecosystem. This work builds on NENPHL’s role as a regional connector, helping organizations identify concrete next steps that support workplace inclusion.

Career Innovators CoP
Upcoming CoP Session: Our next Career Innovators Community of Practice session will take place on June 11 and will focus on The Importance of Networking, featuring Mike Giongo and Nico Meyering.
Pre-survey data reinforces the need for experiential networking opportunities: while CoP participants report networking monthly, their average response was 2.7 out of 5 when asked if they know how to turn conversations and connections into potential opportunities or next steps, highlighting the importance of building relational, not just transactional, pathways to meaningful connection.
Eagles Autism Challenge
NENPHL was proud to participate in the Eagles Autism Challenge and celebrate the incredible regional momentum around autism acceptance, research, and community impact. As a 2026 community grant beneficiary, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing connection-based employment work through our growing regional network.

Join NENPHL and become part of an expanding network supporting neuroinclusion!
