The mission of Autism Forge Launchpad LLC is here to start and support businesses run by or for people with neurodiversity. Our goal is to create jobs for neurodivergent people and make sure these businesses can support themselves financially. The Start-Up Essentials Program of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has facilitated the launch of many small businesses. The Autism Forge © workshop is designed to supplement the SBDC program. The SBDC program is a terrific guide to the basics of starting a business. The Autism Forge © workshop provides the additional insights required to start and grow a successful business that provides employment opportunities to the neurodiverse. The Autism Forge © workshop consists of five all-day workshops. You must complete an application to be part of the cohort, please see details in the event description.

Experts will explain the PA ABLE Savings Program and Pennsylvania's Work Incentive Programs. The PA ABLE Savings Program gives individuals with qualified disabilities a tax-free way to save for a wide range of disability-related expenses while maintaining important benefits. Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA), often referred to as benefits counseling, is an essential service to promote and support the employment of people with disabilities who receive SSA benefits. This webinar will offer an overview of WIPA's individualized work incentives planning, which can assist individuals to make informed choices about work.
